Kearney Kickoff this Saturday!

Our first meet is this Saturday, and I couldn't be more excited!  I love the atmosphere of meets, and putting all of our hard work to the test on the course.  The team has logged a lot of summer miles and worked extremely hard these past few weeks.  We are ready--time to see what we can do!

Important information for this Saturday:
Kearney Kickoff at Jesse James Park
5:50--Meet by the coach's office entrance to load the bus
6:00--Bus leaves--runners must ride the bus to the meet
7:30--Varsity Girls Race (5k)
8:30 JV Girls Race (2 mile)

The pasta party for the meet will be hosted by senior, Annie Chen's family on Thursday.
Meet Treats will be provided by Madison King's and Tessa Mussman's families.

The season has been going great!  This past weekend, we had a great time serving the running community at the Parkville Days 5k!  Here are some pictures from the event:

Friday Practice

Practice is after school Friday. Much of the practice will be indoors. Please remember t-shirts forms, excursion forms, and activity fees.

Important First Week News

We had a great first day of practice!  It was exciting to see so many new and returning runners.  Here is some important information to know about the start of the season:

• Practice will be from 7-8:30 am Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday--athlete's must have a physical on file to participate in practice 
• On Thursday, practice will be from 6-7:30 am
• August 11th-15th, practice will be from 3:10-4:45 pm
• Parent Meeting:  Monday, August 11th at 6 pm in Park Hill HS Room 543 (Coach Sweeney's room)

First Day of Practice

This first day of practice is Monday, August 4th at 7 am.  Meet at the Park Hill High School Track!
